This term has been difficult so far. I have been struck down with illness twice, messed around in various ways, moved house, argued a lot and more besides. However, the good things out weigh the bad so I still have my happiness. From next week my schedule will fall in place and everything should flow smoothly.

Today we took the writing and the reading exams. Ironically everyone takes the writing exam poorly while I do quite well on that but I do poorly on the listening exam while for most people that is their easiest exam. However today, we were all hit hard by the reading exam. There were seven stories to blitz through in one hour and answer all the questions. Really we had no time. After the exam we even talked to the teacher about how we guessed the answers and compared different cultures methods to do so. I guess most of us will be retaking that one.

It’s my birthday on Saturday. The first time it’s been outside of my own country. I wonder what it will be like. We’ll be drinking in the evening and maybe I’ll just chill in the daytime. Yeah, I need the break to rest and recover.
